Lesson Content
After God created the world, He created the first man named Adam. God made Adam from the dust of the ground and breathed life into him.
God placed Adam in a beautiful place called the Garden of Eden. The garden was full of trees, animals, and delicious fruit.
But God saw that Adam should not be alone. So God created a woman named Eve to be his helper and companion.
God allowed Adam and Eve to eat fruit from every tree in the garden except one tree — the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
One day, a serpent tricked Eve into eating the fruit from the forbidden tree. Eve also gave the fruit to Adam, and he ate it too.
Because they disobeyed God, sin entered the world. Adam and Eve had to leave the garden.
Even though they disobeyed, God still loved them and promised that one day He would send a Savior to rescue people from sin.
