Many teenagers struggle with identity. Social media, friends, school pressure, and culture try to tell young people who they should be. The Bible teaches something very different.
God already tells us who we are.
According to Scripture, believers are chosen by God, loved by Him, and called to live with purpose. Your identity is not based on popularity, appearance, or achievements. Your true identity is found in Jesus Christ.
When we understand who we are in Christ, we become confident, secure, and able to resist negative pressure from the world.
God created each person with unique gifts and purpose. Instead of trying to copy others, Christians are called to reflect Christ in their lives.
Practical Application
When you feel pressure to fit in, remember that God has already chosen you. Focus on living according to God’s truth rather than the world’s expectations.
1 Peter 2:9
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession…”
